Low Night Demand Plan
This plan supports 24/7 operations with lower staffing demands for the swing and night shifts. On any given day, the day shift is staffed by 2 teams while the swing and the night shift are each staffed by only one team. The plan uses 6 teams with each team rotating through the following 3-4 shift sequences during a 6 week period:
- Week 1: 3 day shifts, 4 swing shifts
- Week 2: 3 days off, 4 day shifts
- Week 3: 3 swing shifts, 4 days off
- Week 4: 3 day shifts, 4 night shifts
- Week 5: 3 days off, 4 day shifts
- Week 4: 3 night shifts, 4 days off
